Physicalism explained

The metaphysical position says that everything that exists has at least one physical property. This means that there are no things that are not material. Most of the time, physicalism is linked to the philosophy of mind, especially the mind-body problem, in modern philosophy.

It says that the reason is, in some way, a physical thing. Physicalism is also called “materialism,” but the term “physicalism” is better because it has grown with the physical sciences to include far more complex ideas of physicality than just matter, such as wave-particle relationships and forces that can’t be seen or touched.
