Ethnocentrism explained

Ethnocentrism is the tendency to see the world mostly through the lens of one’s own culture. It is the idea that “one’s group is the center of everything and better than all other cultures.” This is the standard by which all other groups are judged. Ethnocentrism is when someone thinks that their race or ethnic group is the most important and that some or all of their culture are better than that of other groups.
