Animism explained

The Latin word “anima” means “mind,” “life,” or “soul.” Animism says that everything has a spirit or soul. Animism is the belief that everything—things, places, and animals—has a spirit.

A completely different group of ideas sometimes called “animistically.” This is the idea of the world soul, which is also called “anima mundi.” Some “primitive” people believe that ghosts live in everything.
